Be Loved
“There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life - fear of death, fear of judgement - is one not yet fully formed in love. We, though, are going to love - love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first.”
Praise God for loving us! I say it all the time and I start many prayers out with that sentence. We love because He first loved us. That love is for us, offered freely to banish our fears and to give us peace of mind. His love gives us freedom to love others. His love includes grace and a whole lot of mercy. Those things together give us confidence and security. His perfect love, if accepted and known, expells our fears! To know this love we must know Jesus. We must accept His forgiveness and leave behind the shame and fear associated with bad choices and sin. That stuff will happen! But we are loved! That love takes away our sins and fears. When you are done feeling guilty from past mistakes......then, my friend, you have been fully formed in love. Let go of your fears today! Go deeper with your Jesus and let Him love you like crazy! Then love others with all you have!
