Fortify Friday
And I will give you treasures in the darkness-secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name. -Isaiah 45:3
When we open up to God and walk closely with Him, we are able to see things that those who don’t know Him often miss. We can hear God speaking to us through our Bible readings and devotions, through our Pastors and close friends. And when we are really in tune with Him, we will hear Him speak through an unexpected person or situation. God is always working to give us special treasures that are meant to guide us and give us hope. He often answers hard questions in the darkest of times. No, God hasn’t left us alone during this time of quarantine, these are the times when he is the closest and waiting for the perfect moment to shine His light for us to see. Just when we think things couldn’t get worse, God sends us riches that only He can do in a time that seems the darkest and dreariest.
